OBJECTIVE
To create a series of cohesive magazine spreads, branding, and content that emulated the look and feel of a professional music magazine.
PROCESS
I handled every aspect of production, from sourcing assets through photography and digital illustration to crafting the logo, body copy, and even a fictional band to bring the concept to life. The magazine featured an original album cover, a recorded song embedded via QR code, and an interview I conducted with a passionate guitarist. Inspired by real-world music magazines, I included tabs for a play-along feature, collaborating with a musician to create a song and transcribe its notes. After sketching and iterating layouts, I refined the pages with textured effects and grungy fonts to match the magazine’s gritty, music-themed aesthetic. Extensive research informed the branding, ensuring a professional and authentic feel.
The final design successfully showcased a dynamic, versatile platform for music articles and interviews. A QR code linking to the featured song earned an impressive number of views relative to its limited initial distribution.

OBJECTIVE
To design three magazine ads that align with the branding and audience of Soundpoint Magazine while authentically representing their respective real-life company counterparts.
PROCESS
I meticulously researched the branding and advertising styles of each company, ensuring their fictional counterparts’ designs appealed to both professionals and hobbyists. For Azure Veritech, finding the perfect imagery proved challenging due to the limitations of stock photos. To resolve this, I captured custom photography tailored to the brand’s aesthetic, creating visuals that seamlessly aligned with its identity. Each ad was designed with attention to detail, from typography to layout, ensuring cohesion with the magazine’s overall theme while staying true to the brands’ unique tones.
The final ads were indistinguishable from those featured in professional guitar magazines, perfectly representing their respective companies. This project demonstrated my ability to combine research, creativity, and technical skills to deliver industry-standard results.

OBJECTIVE
To create an engaging promotional video for Soundpoint Magazine  and embed it into an interactive PDF for dynamic marketing.
PROCESS
I conceptualized a high-energy video, pairing the magazine with a fictional sponsor, “Shore” (a nod to the renowned mic brand “Shure”). The visuals captured the rock-star essence, using fog, dramatic stage lighting, and close-up footage of a microphone, while my voice-over— delivered with a commanding, stadium-announcer tone—tied it all together. The narrative emphasized that the fictional band featured in the magazine used this mic, blending branding with storytelling. Despite being new to Premiere Pro, I quickly mastered its basics through hands-on experimentation and resourceful troubleshooting, ensuring the final video was polished and professional.
The voice-over and visual storytelling proved highly effective, earning praise for its production quality. The success of the project led to an unexpected job offer for voice acting work on a separate project, marking a rewarding milestone in my creative journey.
